Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To maintain all plant and equipment to high standards of quality and safety
2. To keep appropriate records of all movement and maintenance of plant and equipment including maintaining plant database
3. To service plant and equipment on site as directed by Operations team
4. To provide preventative maintenance programmes for all of the equipment located in the factory.
5. To carry out breakdown assistance on all plant and equipment
6. To undertake other duties as directed by the supervisor in accordance with agreed training plan
7. To ensure adherence to all relevant Health and Safety Legislation at all times
8. To ensure adherence to all Company Procedures and Standards
9. To be a flexible, efficient and self-motivated worker, performing equally well on your own or as part of a team
We are seeking a motivated self-starter with the expertise to ensure all plant and equipment is maintained to high standards of quality and safety whilst accurately maintaining records of all plant movement.
Knowledge & Experience:
A good understanding of plant hydraulics and electrical basics (12v supply) is essential
The following would be advantageous but training can be provided:
- Welding
- Forklift licence
- Knowledge of jacks and stressing equipment
- Hydrodemolition plant including: pumps, lances and Siltbuster units
