We develop advanced technologies combining remote sensing, InSAR, and data science to deliver high-impact decision-support solutions for infrastructure management, natural hazard monitoring, and land-use planning.
As part of the VINCI Construction group, we help our clients better understand and anticipate ground deformation phenomena through Earth observation data and cutting-edge technologies.
About the Role :
Sixense Satellite is looking for an InSAR Processing Expert to join our team and help develop our InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) services. You will work on operational InSAR projects and help our clients keep their infrastructure safe by delivering advanced satellite-based ground deformation monitoring products.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to tackle real-world challenges and see their work make a direct impact on infrastructure safety.
What You'll Do :
• Processing satellite Synthetic Aperture Radar images with Atlas and Atlas+ processing chain.
• Liaise with the post-processing team to define the best strategies and deliverables for each project.
• Develop algorithms and tools for new applications and methodologies, using artificial intelligence and/or other cutting-edge technologies.
• Take part in R&D studies, mainly focused on satellite remote sensing and data science solutions.
• Join internal technical meetings and work with the product manager and sales teams to respond to customer requests.
• Interact with industrial and academic partners to present the results of your work.
• Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge sharing.
Profile
What We're Looking For :
• Degree (MSc/PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge in the field of Remote Sensing with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Experience in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Knowledge and programming experience in: Python, Matlab, C++ and/or similar programming language.
• Excellent written and oral reporting skills in English are mandatory.
• Experience in GIS systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, attain operational objectives assigned by management.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently on open-ended problems
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have :
• French or Spanish would be a valued skill.
• Comprehension of civil engineering and geotechnics would be a valued skill.
• Experience in Optical imagery processing would be a valued skill.
• Passionate about discipline, motivated and dynamic, a team player that would appreciate joining a growing international company.
