Freyssinet Australia is seeking skilled Site Engineers and Project Engineers to join our Civils Team on a major bridge project in Canberra. This two-year project offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging civil engineering works, while developing your career within a global engineering leader.
About the Role
As a Site Engineer or Project Engineer, you will:
- Support the planning and delivery of bridge strengthening and bearing replacement works
- Assist in the coordination of FRP works and post-tensioning operations
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and day-to-day site activities
- Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are maintained
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and progress, reporting directly to the Project Manager
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to achieve successful outcomes
About You
We are looking for engineers who have:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline)
- Previous experience in bridges, structures, or civil infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of FRP works, bearing replacements, jacking or post-tensioning (highly regarded)
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to safety and quality delivery
