VINCI Construction GeoInfrastructure is a subsidiary of the VINCI Group specialising in transport infrastructure, coastal protection and hydraulic engineering, environmental development and site servicing. Together with its sister company SPIECAPAG, it has been awarded the contract to lay direct current lines as part of the SuedOstLink project.
SuedOstLink is a planned underground direct current power line that will connect Klein Roghan in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Wolmirstedt in Saxony-Anhalt to the ISAR connection point near Landshut.
In line with the major objectives of the energy transition, SuedOstLink will mainly transport electricity from renewable energy sources in northern and eastern Germany to Bavaria.
From 2027 onwards, this project will supply Bavaria with clean and affordable electricity.
Come and join our teams as Quality and Environment Manager.
Reporting to the project management team and with the support of your teams, you will be responsible for defining, implementing and managing the project's Quality and Environment policy, ensuring compliance with regulatory, normative and contractual requirements.
In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Steering the Quality and Environment policy: Defining objectives and indicators, implementing and maintaining management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.), regulatory monitoring.
Monitoring and improving Quality and Environment systems: ensuring the deployment of procedures in the various departments, leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, PDCA, Kaizen, audits, feedback, etc.), ensuring that quality and environment documents (manuals, procedures, instructions, operating procedures, etc.) are kept up to date and that documentation is controlled.
Environmental monitoring and regulatory compliance: ensuring compliance with environmental requirements (waste management, discharges, pollution, etc.), actions to reduce environmental impact, environmental audits and monitoring of indicators.
Quality and Environment control and audits: Leading internal and supplier audits, managing supplier approval requests, preparing and supporting external audits (certification, customers, etc.), post-audit action plans, control plans, verification of the execution monitoring file, acceptance of the work, etc.
Quality and environment coordination, training and awareness-raising
Management of non-compliance and complaints
Quality and environment reporting and communication: Monitoring QE indicators, communicating dashboards, participating in management reviews and steering committees.
With a degree in civil engineering or equivalent, you have significant experience in the field of quality, safety and the environment.
You have experience in the construction industry and, ideally, in large-scale projects.
You are proficient in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and, ideally, have knowledge of German environmental regulations.
You are independent, rigorous, organised and proactive.
You have good interpersonal skills and know how to rally teams around quality and environmental issues.
You have excellent communication skills.
Fluency in German is essential for this position (ideally B2/C1).
