Profil

What about you?

According to our hiring managers, you’ll be a great fit if:

  • You are an engineering school or university graduate, with a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. This way, you’ll have a first academic and theoretical knowledge of our environmental stakes.
  • To help you take on your first missions and feel at ease with the assignments, you understand the basis of environmental audits standards, and of basic safety programs (firefighting is a bonus!)
  • To succeed in data analysis, visualization, and storage, proficiency in tools like Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel is welcomed.
  • As you can see, there is a lot going on! You’ll need to juggle audits, reporting, and on-site follow-ups. Being structured and self-driven will make your day-to-day smoother and more efficient.
  • You define yourself as a creative thinker who approaches environmental challenges with innovative solutions. Your proactive mindset, anticipating risks and proposing improvements will help you stay ahead of issues and make a real impact on the project.
  • Our teams are close-knit, and collaboration is key to making an impact. Your curiosity and sociability will help you integrate quickly, adapt to different environments, and effectively engage with the on-site teams across the project.
  • Your everyday life will be in English: as such, you need to feel confident enough about your English level, in terms of writing but also speaking.
  • Having your driving license is necessary.

Next steps?

If you like what you’re reading and feel you could be up for the task, let’s meet!

We’ll have a first quick phone encounter to ensure we are aligned on what you’re looking for and what we can offer, before exploring these elements further during a second Teams meeting.

If we are still in aligned, it will be time for you to meet The DWI Project’s Environment Manager.

Welcome onboard!

Pourquoi nous rejoindre ?

Why should you join the DWI Project and VINCI Construction as a VIE?
We’ll give you three reasons why this opportunity might be perfect for you:

  • You're starting your career – Looking for assignments that teach you something new every day?

Thanks to a VIE, what looks like 2 years on a resume is actually worth 5 years of experience. Léa, working in Toronto, says: “I'm learning so much, not only about the job and technical skills, but also about what it’s like to work in Canada. I feel like I’m discovering much more than I would in France at 25.”
But if you’re uncomfortable stepping out of your comfort zone, this might not be for you.

  • You need mentors to grow – Looking for a supportive work environment?

You’ll have experienced professionals guiding you and you’ll be part of Young Talents @VINCI Construction, a strong peer network. Thomas in New Zealand shares: “My manager made me feel part of the team from day one, and ensures I progress every day.”
But if you prefer working solo and don’t enjoy teamwork, we might not be the right fit.

  • You are looking for an environment which will keep you on your toes, make you wonder what’s the next challenge ahead?

Considered as a fully-fledged member of the DWI team, you handle your own projects: it’s your call, your responsibility. Caroline, now on a local contract, says: “If I want more, they give me more.”
But if you enjoy a well-oiled routine, you might feel uncomfortable with us.
