We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer (Remedial) based in Kalgoorlie, with occasional work throughout the state.
Primary Accountabilities:
Develop, review, and manage comprehensive project plans, emphasizing safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
Proactively lead safety initiatives, maintaining high standards and effectively managing risks.
Implement quality management procedures, including design reviews, updates, and adherence to project specifications and Australian standards.
Provide technical guidance with strong problem-solving skills, taking initiative and demonstrating a sense of urgency.
Establish and maintain robust project cost control, focusing on labor efficiency and utilization.
Cultivate positive client relationships, ensuring effective day-to-day interactions.
Accurately prepare monthly reports, progress claims, and subcontractor statements.
Administer contracts and manage commercial risk in accordance with the company's Delegation of Authority (DOA).
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the civil/construction industry.
Experience in Remedial, Concrete/Steel repair & re-strengthening.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
