Whilst we have a large presence on the international stage, SIXENSE has only been in the Australian and NZ market for few years and is a SME currently experiencing high levels of growth.

You will be in our Automated Survey Monitoring team and will involve both field and office work.We are looking for someone who is willing to push this role beyond what is defined and add to our success.
This is a superb opportunity for an early career surveyor or survey technician who is looking to be learn about cutting edge survey monitoring techniques and a major infrastructure project in Sydney.
YOUR MISSIONS WITH US:
Under direction and with support of the project manager, you will be responsible for :
- Installing robotic surveying instruments ;
- Managing data coming into our system;
- Maintaining our survey network as a whole.
Profile
ARE YOU INTERESTED?
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Trained surveyor with an educational background in surveying
- Experience working on large construction projects is an advantage.
- High level of awareness of safety and understanding of safety procedures.
- Experience with robotic/automated Total Stations used on large infrastructure and understanding of least square adjustment theory.
- Strong ability to manipulate data in a variety of ways (including Excel and basic SQL) and aptitude/eagerness to learn new software.
- A basic level of understanding in electronics and computer networking.
- Ability to self-start and drive their own schedule.
- Proven ability to stick at problems and successfully troubleshoot.
