Purpose and legal basis of the processing
Vinci SA and the Vinci entities, as data controllers, process personal data in order to manage job applications published on their careers pages.

This processing is based on the contractual nature of pre-contractual measures for the recruitment of potential future employees.

Data collected
VINCI processes the following categories of personal data: Identification: surname, first name, address, country of residence, email and telephone number(s), Candidate's education: level of studies, speciality, diploma and language spoken, Professional experience: level of experience in the position sought, and CV and/or covering letter and/or reference letter. If the local regulations applicable to the post to be filled so provide and if the candidate wishes to provide this information: recognition as a disabled worker, work permit.

No personal data is collected without the candidate's knowledge, nor processed for purposes other than those described above.

Recipients of the data

This data is accessible to the persons involved in the recruitment process (duly authorised human resources personnel, recruitment consultants where applicable, and operational staff for applications relating to their offer), as well as to the site's technical administrators and authorised IT service providers.

CVs submitted for an application are accessible to other VINCI entities, which may consult them when vacancies are likely to correspond to the profile. In this context, the CV may be subjected to an automated decision in order to match it with a vacancy that may correspond to the applicant and for the purpose of ranking profiles for the vacancy in question. The algorithm used is based on whether the data provided in the CV matches the job vacancy. Candidates may obtain human intervention, express their point of view and contest the decision by writing to the contact indicated below.

Retention period

This data is kept for 1 year after the applicant's last connection to their personal space.

User rights

Your profile may be analysed by an automated application recommendation system. Only the professional data on your CV will be taken into account. You have the right to request human intervention, to express your point of view, and to contest the decision within 2 weeks of your application. Users have a right of access, rectification, deletion, limitation and portability that they can exercise by logging on to their ‘candidate space’.


Users wishing to delete their candidate account may do so via the ‘Delete my account’ option in the menu of their candidate area.
