We’re seeking a driven and forward-thinking Corrosion Engineer to join our dynamic Remedial team. If you’re passionate about extending asset life, solving complex engineering challenges, and making a tangible impact on infrastructure performance this is your opportunity.


 


In this role, you’ll do more than manage corrosion you’ll lead innovative solutions, influence key decisions, and contribute to the durability and sustainability of major projects. What You’ll Be Doing


Designing and implementing advanced corrosion management strategies
Conducting inspections, testing programs, and technical investigations
Performing cathodic protection (CP) testing, monitoring, design, and installation
Diagnosing corrosion mechanisms and delivering practical, effective solutions
Advising on material selection and advanced protection systems
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and compliance
Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
Producing high-quality technical reports and specifications
Promoting best practice through knowledge sharing and mentoring
Monitoring system performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry innovations
Supporting project planning, reporting, and forecasting activities


 


What You’ll Bring


Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Corrosion Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or similar
Construction White Card
NACE (or equivalent) certification highly regarded


 


Experience & Skills


Minimum 5 years’ experience in corrosion-focused engineering roles
Strong knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, materials, and protection methods
Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges and deliver results
Experience working with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements
Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
