Description of the assignment

ROLE PURPOSE:

• Administer the Quality Management systems of the Company, provide audit and other required support to the Quality and Environment activities
• Support the sites and regional offices in ensuring compliance with the company Quality Management Systems
• Production of Environmental and QA documentation.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Support the administration, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems in line with business needs, relevant standards, and Group requirements.
• Assist in the development, review, and control company systems documentation, procedures, standards, and records to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
• Contribute to the planning, delivery, and reporting of the Internal Audit Programme, including conducting internal audits under the agreed schedule and tracking corrective actions.
• Assist with the preparation for and participation in external audits (e.g. ISO Standards, CARES, RISQS, client audits), including supporting the close-out of findings within agreed timescales.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), assisting with root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
• Work closely with operational, engineering, and project teams to help define, maintain, and apply quality standards that support safe and compliant project delivery.
• Provide practical quality and environmental support to regional offices and project teams, including guidance on procedures, forms, and system use.
• Assist in quality assurance and quality control activities at both business and project level, ensuring requirements are understood and followed.
• Monitor quality and environmental performance data, identify trends and areas for improvement, and support the preparation of reports for management review.
• Collect, analyse, and present quality and environmental data for monthly and quarterly reports and contribute to the Annual Management Review.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor approval processes, working with the purchasing team to ensure documentation and compliance requirements are met.
• Assist with supplier performance monitoring, non-conformance records, and follow-up actions as required.
• Request and collate client feedback following project completion and assist with analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support SDF and related reporting and administration tasks, including:
• Monthly submissions (e.g. Carbon, CPF)
• Highways Passport setup, renewals, and training uploads
• Diversity, supply chain, and other SDF/EKFB reporting
• Uploading competency assessments and maintaining associated records
• Review customer requirements and make sure they are met
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across all regions to promote understanding and effective use of the Management Systems.

Profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience supporting the development and maintenance of management systems; Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015
• Internal Auditor training qualification desirable but not essential
• Familiarity with document control systems and maintaining management system records
• Experience in the construction industry
• A good working knowledge of MS Office (minimum of Word and E
